First of all ,you need to setup the Fastboot tools [HERE is How to] on you PC and install latest HTC sync Manager .your phone bootloader must be unlocked [Here How to] and S-OFF to successfully install TWRP Recovery on your phone. Also you must Enable USB debugging in your phone [HERE is How to] .

1. Download the latest TWRP image file form [HERE].(I have downloaded the twrp-3.0.2-0-m8.img file but if your Frimeware version is old I recommend you should download old TWRP image file)
